What is the Entrepreneur's Accountability Club?

Hi there, it's Karen Scharf with a very special invitation for you. Right now I'm willing to bet that you're a bit overwhelmed with all the tasks involved in growing your business. You probably get frustrated and, even though you don't want to admit it, you probably end up getting a little mad at yourself every once in a while.

I don't mean this as a personal attack - in fact, it's not a personal statement at all! It's a natural occurrence that every entrepreneur goes through when trying to start, operate and grow a business.

Just think about it... as an entrepreneur, you're responsible for creating your services, designing your ads, maintaining your website, figuring out your accounting, finding new customers. Good gracious, it's overwhelming just talking about it, let alone trying to actually do it.

So, what ends up happening? You start a task. And it's a pretty important task. It has the potential to affect your bottom line. But then something else comes up. Something really, really important that you know you have to attend to. So you set aside your first task for a little while, with every intention of getting back to it. But just as you're about to finish your second task, a third thing pops up and it really needs to be attended to right now! Next thing you know, your first task is still sitting in the to-do pile, our second task isn't quite done, your bottom line isn't growing, you're mad and frustrated, and you're even feeling like maybe you're not cut out for this whole entrepreneur thing.

Does that sound like your day? Your week? Your month? Well, trust me, you are not alone.

As entrepreneurs we go through this on a regular basis. We work mostly on our own, with no one to hold our feet to the fire, no one to hold us accountable, and no one to help us get through the tasks that we're having a hard time concentrating on.

Which is exactly why I've created the Entrepreneur's Accountability Club.

I've been brainstorming plans for the club for a long time, because I constantly hear my clients tell me that what they're missing is accountability. Someone to "hold their hand" so to speak. Someone to work with them, side by side, and guarantee that the task at hand gets completed.

Let me explain my vision for the Entrepreneur's Accountability Club: it's a small, intimidate group of entrepreneurs who meet via telephone for 60 minutes worth of focused, step-by-step action. During each meeting, we will concentrate on one task, and one task alone, and work together until the task is completed.

The first club meeting was held a few weeks ago and here's what one of our Charter Members had to say:

Hi Karen,

I wanted to thank you for your time on the call today. It has really helped me to get focused again on what I need to do and where I want to take my business.

I appreciate the way you helped us personally even though it made the call go twice as long! And I really appreciate every one else's input.

Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to the next call!

Some of the tasks I have planned for the future include:

  • target market research - I will walk you through various steps to take, various websites to visit, various questions to ask in order to research your target market and determine its viability
  • swot analysis - together we will look at the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that face your business and contribute to its growth potential
  • keyword research - I'll take you to various websites and show you to perform your own keyword analysis, walk you through a mathematical equation to figure out your probability of competing with each keyword, and show you exactly what to do with those words once you've found them
  • article writing - we'll walk through a simple process for wiring your own articles, quickly and professionally, and I'll show you what to do with those articles once they're completed

And these are just a few! I've got tons of business-building concepts that we will be working on together, hand in hand, through completion.

No more overwhelm. No more frustration. No more discouragement. Just a healthy, happy, steadily-growing business.

Here are my plans for making this work... we'll be meeting via telephone with a small group of fellow entrepreneurs. Prior to each phone call, you will receive worksheets, spreadsheets, weblinks, and anything else you'll be needing in order to complete the task at hand. Each phone call will be recorded and turned into a product at a later date.

As of now, your investment in each phone call will be $9.99. I want to keep this extremely affordable for entrepreneurs and new business owners, but I also understand the "mental shift" that takes place when you invest in a task. Without any skin in the game, we tend to not take the task at hand very seriously. So, there is a good possibility that I will be raising the investment price in the near future. By getting in as a Charter Member of the Entrepreneur's Accountability Club, you are guaranteed to never pay more than the initial $9.99 per call.

Right now, I'm not panning a "forced continuity" (which means you will NOT be charged automatically each month). Since each call is task-related, I understand that we might be focusing on a task that you've already completed or that is not applicable to your business. After all, there's no reason to pay for a call on search engine optimization if you don't have a website, right? (I might change the continuity option in the future, but as a Charter Member you will not be affected.)

The next meeting of the Entrepreneur's Accountability Club is scheduled for Thursday, May 7 at 4:00pm US Eastern Time.

Together we will be developing our email marketing strategy to grow your business, grow your brand and grow your sales.

So, are you ready to get started?
